Objectives:
The principal objective fo the project was to develope a model for
training community advisors in the field of environmental health.
Emphasis was placed on community participation and empowerment as central
elements in the development process, design of the model, and evaluation
components of new training methodologies. A new role of community
health advisors was introduced as part of the project.
